You’ve got a point here, sort of. I guess we all know that policing our own is the most effective way to keep certain behaviors in check.

So yeah, women could start going after the bullshit behaviors of some women toward men. You’re right, they exist.

But. There’s that reciprocity issue to consider, or rather the lack there of.

It can’t be one way.

I see men like you casually acknowledge the bullshit and sometimes deadly behaviors women have to deal with from men, as an aside.

But where’s your article calling out all the harmful, toxic shit men do? Where are you policing your own?

In this instance, due to all the historical gaslighting about it, if you want that check on gold diggers and female stalkers, you need to go first. You need to offer to women what you’d like in reciprocity. Otherwise you’re just asking for societal protection from sociopathic behavior on the romantic scene without doing your share for women or other marginalized persons.

You men need to start holding your corner too.
