It’s not the job of a McDonalds crew member or a gas station attendant to accept and deal with that kind of behavior.

The job description did not say “be a willing whipping boy/girl for our customers while keeping a smile on your face".

The customer is not always right. This isn’t a lack of patience on the part of staff. That’s ridiculous. It’s refusal to be treated like a serf or a slave with impunity.
