You're right there. Socialism has been demonized here in America. Most people don't even recognize that much of what's been a public boon to the American people is a social program. Social security, libraries, public education, fire departments, Fish and Wildlife programs, National Parks (we've got some of the best national parks in the world thanks to Teddy Roosevelt - I'm going to make myself cry because that heritage is being sold out from under the commons).

They always bring up Venezuela. It's frustratingly blind.

Capitalism works best when it's snuggled up in bed with some kick ass socialism. They are the best of lovers and the best of friends.
