You’re not realizing that Narcissists are award calibre actors/actresses.

They also tend to gravitate toward people who were denied agency of one form or another in their youth. They choose and play to that lack.

They mirror back to you your deepest darkest insecurities so you think you’re FINALLY being seen only to turn them against you and twist that knife when they don’t get their way or they just need a Narcissistic dopamine hit.

There’s a reason why some men and women are attracted to Narcissists. That behavior was normalized in their youth. Until they heal that, they will always be potential prey.

It’s a psychological predator/prey dynamic they don’t realize they are a part of.
