You’re not a guinea pig. Truth is we past the point of being able to stop it a long time ago. At this point, it’s just going to have to run its course. No way out but through.

Just be careful about making your own sound decisions rather then trusting anyone with an agenda, like "for the economy". To the economy, you’re replaceable. To your children, you’re not. Keep your decision making focus where it matters. Do the best you can with what you’ve got.

At this point that’s all there is. It’s also become clear that a sustained, coordinated community approach is just not going to happen. Too many people want to stick their heads in the sand. Too many people are allowing themselves to be puppets of others with dark agendas.

I wish I could say something more hopeful. That’s just kind of where we are.
