You're making the assumption that women have always had a choice with whom they pass on their genes.

A significant portion of the world population can trace dependency to Ghangis Khan. Polygamy was rampant in the ancient world where women were given as concubines to high status men, often to curry favor. When a war lord gains 500 "wives" then that's 500 men who don't get to procreate. To ensure fidelity, men were made eunachs. Can't pass on your genes when you no longer have the goods to do so. Constant wars meant constant death and often slavery. Slaves weren't exactly granted access to women either, except for conditions like Roman Gladiators, of course.

Do you think all of Ghangis Khan's concubines wanted to be there? That they were thrilled beyond belief to pop out another one for a war lord who had so many children they were disposable?

Your thinking here is a little self involved and self pitying.

You can blame women for holding "the ultimate card" and buy into the 80/20 bullshit all day long. In the end, it's always you guys who follow the war lords to your own early deaths. You're always significantly more concerned about impressing guys like that so you can punch your man card than you are about impressing a woman who might choose to have children with you and devote her life to your benefit and care.

Looks like "the ultimate card" is a two sided one. All up in your feels of feeling hard done by and feeling sorry for yourself, you've failed to look at the other side of that card.
