Youre making the assumption that the cheating is what's being applauded. I think k that's a leap, but otherwise, yes. Those husbands/boyfriends are not responsible for their partner cheating. That was her choice. She could have left the relationship or she could have made therapy an ultimatum. Opening up the marriage. Something. She chose cheating over all those other options. That was her choice. Not his.

And lookit. You can have sympathy/empathy for someone feeling and suffering loneliness due to spousal neglect and still recognize their behavioral response (cheating) was morally reprehensible. We're complicated creatures like that.

Ultimately though, if it's wrong for men to cheat on us women, no matter what, the the reverse is and must also be true. Obviously.
