You're making a false equivalence because youre not considering the 'what for'.


I don't need a llama to get me food.

I don't need a llama to buy me things.

I don't need a llama to build me a house.

I don't need a llama to be okay with myself.

I don't need a llama to protect me from trees or fossilized bones.

And so forth and so on.
