You're judging the new Snow White before you've even met her. Why do you assume she'll be annoying? Because will most likely be more assertive?

You recognize these classics have been revamped over time many times in order to teach new lessons and that's part of their draw and their power; but you don't want to see a new lesson because it's new? And it might be 'annoying' and totally unnecessary.

Who's being smug? You could always exercise that discernment you were talking about and just not go see it. Why expose yourself to the 'noise' in the first place? Does the opinion of Disney matter that much to you? Maybe you need feminism more than you think.
