For clarity though, that descriptor was in no way directed at Ted, and I can't imagine anyone who carefully read the whole statement to think it was.

The statement was: So once again we have this narrative coming from aggrieved little sock muppet men about how nobody cares about men and nobody will do right by men when all along it was them.

That's referring to those men (and a few women) who are blaming women for their loneliness, particularly conservative media and Manosphere Influencers who are banging on their misogyny drums and nauseum infinitum. It follows a paragraph specifically referring to 2nd Amendment advocates who always kill any gun control legislation.

As far as I know, our boy Ted is not a gun nutter. As I recall, he even wrote an article or two about it in favor of or friendly to gun legislation, after Uvalde.

Sock muppet because these people are repeating a narrative that makes men feel good without and kind of review for veracity or critically thinking through the reality of the situation either because they're stupid or they care more about making money than anything, no matter the means.

Like that old kid's show with that lady and Lambie. The sock muppet.

I stand by that. It describes jackasses like Fucker Carlson to a T. There's a lot of bank in misogyny for the enterprising.

If Ted feels like that applies to him too, then who are we to argue? If he knows it doesn't, then no offense was given, obviously, and he has no reason to feel slighted.

I'm disaplointed to see a fellow woman tone policing instead of challenging the patriarchal lies that get our kind maimed and/or killed.
