You're basically saying you never consider a relationship with a woman that is not romantic in nature. Because she never stipulated that her friend relationships with men started out as dating. She said she doesn't date men anymore and only had them in her life as friends; meaning they were already friends before she stopped dating or they startes out that way rather than drifted into "2nd place".
