You're a smart guy. Like a lot of smart guys you're often tone deaf. Like a lot of smart guys you tend to get so hung up on inspecting one type of tree, you miss the rest of the forest. Like a lot of smart guys you value number analysis as the sole arbiter of good reasoning. But number analysis had a weakness to it... agenda. It's not as neutral and dispassionate as smart guys like you always claim.

You have a Covid agenda. You have from the start. The fact is, the pandemic isn't over. It won't be over, worldwide, for 7ish years by some estimates; where we're truly free and clear of it. Even then, it will be decades before we truly know if our response to it was an over reaction or not. And truth be told, it will always be a speculative analysis because you won't ever have hard data for something that never happened. Now whether that data not coming to pass was because there was no threat or because you prevented/mitigated the threat by preemptive response remains to be seen.

You're also pushing your Covid agenda outside the benefit of time. Time for things to settle out. Time for proper study and review. Time for it to actually end. Time to look at the whole picture. Maybe you should give it some time.
