Your problem being attractive to girls has to do with being too much like Eeyore, not being too much like a girl, or not being manly enough.

There are women who dig the Eeyore persona, but very very few. There aren't many things that will reduce your dating prospects down as much as being a self pitying Eeyore type. You might can camoflage it for a short while, but not for long. And she'll lose interest pretty quick once that happens.
