Your belief in magic and pixie dust shouldn't intrude upon or interfere in someone else's right to the prudent dealing with reality.
Look, if you want to take that .3% chance on a miracle outcome and are willing to take the emotional and financial responsibility for doing so, against all common sense, then that's your choice. It's your pregnancy and your body.
But if it's not your pregnancy and your body and you cannot afford the resources to cover that gamble based on crossed fingers and hopes and prayers, then you don't get to wait around on Sky Daddy to come down from on high and make things all copacetic for you and you don't get to make that choice or peddle delusional fantasy to others and though it's worthy of consideration, certainly not worth anywhere near as much as prudent reality.
