You weren't naturally gifted at learning to tie your shoes either, were you?
But you learned, didn't you?
Because being able to tie your shoes is a necessary skillset in order to not trip over your laces and hurt yourself right?
You didn't get it the first time, did you?
Somebody had to show you, didn't they?
And then you had to practice, didn't you?
A lot, right? It seemed like it took FOREVER.
But it didn't, did it?
Just regular practice.
Y'all act like social skills are some divine gift from God handed out extra special by Angels to the pretty people; that you didn't get your share and won't, nor can you ever after a certain age cause you missed the pickup line.
Again, I say bullshit.
It's a skillset you can acquire with observation and practice at any time in your life.
If you don't have social skills, perhaps you should be asking yourself the reason why you've never pursued getting them and why you're so afraid to practice.
