You seem to have difficulties in comprehension.

There aren't any bears where I now live. I can't just go out and see one anymore, outside a zoo.

But where I used to live, I saw them often enough. I occupied the same spaces as wild bears in the wild. I don't bother them, they don't bother me.

That's because they are not the vicious monsters butthurt men make them out to be.

Most of the time when you're in the woods with bears, you don't see them, you see evidence of proximity if you know what the signs are. If you do see them, it's from afar. They're not interested in you.
