You replied to your own comment I stead of mine, so I just now saw this because BabyCakes also commented, which broufht me back to the thread.

No worries, the mobile app is persnikety. Happens all the time.

To your comment:

Being informed about feminism or not is irrelevant when the claim your making involves hormones. One needs to understand basic biology and how hormones work, which you will not get from pop culture science writers of biology.

As it so happens, my BS was in a biological field, so I have a much firmer handle on it than most people spouting ridiculous statements like yours after reading a magazine or whatever. Although, I grant you, my particular expertise and degree was in Wildlife Science. Still. Hormones work more or less the same in animals as they do in humans (broad strokes) and testosterone/estrifen have the same functions in deer, panthers, and bears as they do in humans.

Second point to specificity. I said your comment was sexist because it was. I did not specify which gender was being targeted by the sexism. You assumed I meant against women, good chance that's because it's something you've been accused of a lot. Small wonder.

In point of fact, this case your comment was actually sexist against both; yep, men too. It's the "victims of our hormones/ biology" that makes it so.

If you actually had an understanding of hormones and biology, especially a robust ability to compare and contrast between other mammals and humans you'd have noticed a few things, made a few observations that that immediately throw the ridiculousness of that propaganda into absolute, undeniably stark relief.

Now that we've cleared that up, feel free ro can go whine to everyone how you got embarassed by feminism. Again. Make sure you tell them all what a bitter harpy shrew I am and how I need therapy because I must be so hurt. You don't want to miss any of the highlights, you might be accused on inconsistency or something. God forbid, right?

How are your feelpinions? Your 'facts' aren't doing too well.
