You realize all those "studies" about women needing sex less than men focus on sex with another person who is usually a male, right?
They completely disregard all the times women are sexually pleasing themselves.
But masturbation, reading erotica, fantasizing, etc are all still sexual acts. As far as what the woman gets out of it, it doesn't make any difference if another person is there or not.
So when you stay stuff like "women don't need or desire sex as much as men" what you're really saying is that women don't need or desire sex with men to meet their sexual need as much as men must have women to meet their sexual need.
But why would they? Men are not socialized to prioritize making sex pleasurable for women in the same way that women are socialized to make it pleasurable for men. That doesn't mean you don't have the same level or higher of sexual need. It means you have to meet your needs from more than one source.
