You misunderstand part of my comment. I was at work when I left that yesterday while I was doing about 5 other things at the same time.
That was meant as a clarification to the exchange we were already talking about, not a directive.
The mobile app lacks a little. I can't copy and paste back and forth like I can on my laptop.
But if I highlight and respond to every multiple parts, I get accused of being outraged. I'm not, I'm just technologically limited and people ramble a lot. (I'm also so so guilty of that.)
Anyway, I had commented that everyone has a threshhold and women were hitting theirs and you had said something along the lines of stop wanting to understand men.
That's where the stop giving a fuck comment comes in. More particularly, I mean it's not just no longer wanting to understand men. First off, it's not like you lose the insights you learned in the first place. You just realize that none ever mattered in the first place because it was all one sided. You stop assuming or believing the best of men and start listening to what they're actually saying.
And the message from the cultural zeitgeist is that men don't really like women. They tolerate them to get served. A lot of them really get off on abusing women in any of the ways.
So then you get this sense of apathy setting in, and a kind of numbness. You no longer have any sort of positive feelings about 'men' and it's work to not have any negative ones. Work you're also no longer inclined to do. It's just more drudgery for no discernable benefit. At best, you're looking at neutrality. At absolute best.
This is zero fucks to give territory.
You still live and care about most of not all of the individual men in your life. But you're no longer to accept the burden of accepting any more in.
It's basic investment 101. Don't throw effort after foolishness. Prioritizing relationships with those who low key hates you but will happily use you for sex and labor is foolish.
That's where we are.
I think we're seeing the beginning is sex segregation of the species, which is common is species organized by dominance hierarchy.
