I meant prosecute a case against him for the election. I’d like to see him prosecuted for his crimes though, especially after all the chants of “lock her up”. We’ve avoided that issue I’m the past for various reasons like the logistics of secret service protection of a jailed President. Still, this time may be different. Guess we’ll see.

You’re right about both sides needing to work to end partisan politics. Inclusion signals a willingness to do so. Assuming the ones who still support Trump get voted out of office along with him, the tide will turn. They’ll remember. Again, we’ll see. It won’t be overnight. It won’t be just because of the election. It’s step one of getting there.

Offering an olive branch doesn’t mean you expose your neck or turn your back. Wariness is good. Acting like they’ve been acting (Mitch McConnell) isn’t good for the country. We deserve better. So we should be better.
