You left out a few.
- reproductive fears in a post Row world. Where's this nonsense going to end? "Am I going to have to die or go to prison if something goes wrong with a pregnancy, which is a very real possibility?"
-continuing sexism and misogyny, which is rampant and flagrant on the internet. "If this is what men really think of women , if this the locker room talk we're all now privy to, what are my odds of findinf a decent partner who doesn't, in truth, low key hate me?"
- the realities of motherhood are now out there beforehand. "There is no damn village, I'll be blamed for everything wrong in society, particularly as a single mom, and statistically speaking, I WILL spend at least a few years as a single mother.
- "Even if I have a partner, can I actually count on him or is he going to check out? Or a I still going to be in this alone?"
- housing. Education. Jobs market. Climate change.
It's reductive to think that all girls or even the majority of girls are most anxious over their looks.
Preteens maybe, because it's new (makeup, interest in boys, puberty). But that's two years out of a much longer transitional period into adulthood.
