You know, I believe you. I haven't seen any melt downs from younger people, but that doesn't mean they aren't happening. At least, not about masks.
I suppose the public, at large, has also become more accustomed to public meltdowns from the middle aged and younger adults about other things.
Still, it's a little bizarre to see the older set losing it over masks when they're close enough to the last pandemic that they would have grown up hearing stories about it. I'm GenX myself, and I heard stories about the last pandemic from my grandmother who heard them from her mother.
Because they should have been the ones leading advocating wearing masks, not going anti-mask. It's truly mind boggling.
I understand not wanting to be stereotyped. I don't think this qualifies though because I still would not say that older people are taking to violence overall. Nor would I or did I say that public meltdowns from the aged set are going to be the new normal.
