You don't have to be taking a bath, you have to be photographed inside the bathtub.
Depending on the wording, it might not have even specified the child. If it didn't, I would have put the dog or a doll in the tub with a book. That would have counted.
You could also close the curtain, and have the student peeking out holding a book.
There's options. The fact that ppl see that and can't see anything other than a sexual context says more about them.
That said, I'm not comfortable with my child being photographer or having to send photographs to anyone. Of any sort. Especially a teacher's personal email. And especially a Christian church.
The church has a long history of protecting skeevy creepy pervs.
