You cannot require something of someone without some penalty being applied for noncompliance. In the end, that's what it's going to come down to regardless of the pretty packaging conservatives try to dress it up in.

They think that because that IS what he meant. Taking away someone's choice or in other words, their agency over their own life, IS an act of violence. Doesn't matter how "nicely" you to about it. You're condemning them to a life of languishing for the betterment and advancement of somone else.
