You bring up an excellent point about medical conditions affecting behavior in small children. I used to have ear infections a lot as a child and was "fussy" as a result. I would put my hands over my ears and scream. I was 3.

That said, it's more likely that Louis is simply overwrought from fatigue rather than having autism. Every kid throws the occasional tantrum. They are rarely at the convenience of their parents, and they never take into consideration who might be watching. Parenting is a marathon, not a sprint. To hinge the child's entire future on one instance he won't even remember and were it not for the photographs and the news rags, neither would his parents, like Rivka has done is asinine.
