YES!

Societal narratives and expectations are like waves. We've all got to be like pylons. Strong enough, with deep enough foundations, to not be moved by the constant battering and bombardment of everyone else's thoughts and opinions of how life should be.

That's the bad thing social media has done. It's like it's given us all telepathy. Now we all have to hear ad nauseum infinitum every ridiculous opinion everyone else has.

It's exhausting. Far too many people still need to reinforce their psyches against it.
