Yes and no.

For the most part, I have no problem with men. I don't think men are evil.

I also don't think they're worthy of hero worship and automatic awe and deference.

As it turns out, theyre just people.

Weird looking people with dicks, but people nonetheless. (Jk).

And yes, I have a problem..with ALL those ppl who take the left hand path in that pic. Sheeple are annoying. To borrow from NAACP "a mind is a terrible thing to waste".

But. I also have a problem with Influencers, Influencer rhetoric and Influencer pedagogy/dogma. All of them, but no doubt the men ones are a particular burr in my saddle of late. I don't know what it is. The stupid is particularly vexxing.

I kinda do know what it is. It's exhausting. The algorithms keep shoving it in my face. The creators themselves keep shoving it in women's faces. And it's about Urchling. Every once in a while I'll run across some bit of blistering stulidity and think, "Good God in heaven. This is Urchling's dating pool. Poor kid."

I wanted better for her. She'll be 19 next Thursday and she has zero interest in dating.

I cannot understand why the rest of you are not falling all over yourselves getting these fools to shut the hell up. They're making you all look bad. But you're clapping, and extensing sympathy, understanding, validating.

Very few of you have the balls to stand up and say, "that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.".

And you can't say it's rare. Not when 1/3 of young men in Germany have said they believe it's okay to hit their girlfriend during a fight. "Accidentally". Hand might have slipped, I guess. Totally understandable.

Nope. That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Even lizards know this innately.
