Yep. Very rare. And frankly, it is worrying for most parents because of so many sexual and child abuse scandals when men have access to children.

Because there are so few and because men in general degrade other men who work in “pink" professions, the only men who take those jobs do so because they have some other gain. It could be anything. Maybe they are the primary caregiver in their own families, maybe they’re caring for older parents, maybe they’re trying to start their own business or build something and they need an “easy" job.

Or maybe they want access to victims to abuse.

You’re always surprised to see them, and you always try to find out why they’re working that job as soon as you can. You can’t help it. Abusers rarely get caught or get any significant jail time. Parents feel pressured about it to watch their kids like a freaking hawk.

Isn’t that something?
