Yep. Unless you are the very rare bird who does not crave deep human connection, a true loner in other words, it does not matter how much you earn or what professional heights you climb. You will not find that longing in your heart fulfilled by work, only by making deep human connections. We all have to live, but you're cheating yourself and your loved ones if you continually place the all of your being and all of who you are in work.

The question you have to ask yourself is "Do I want to be a cheat?"

That should start putting you in the right frame of mind to make some changes.
