This is what Jesus meant by "concern yourself with the log in your own eye before you worry about the sty in someone else's eye" and "it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven".

Few people have what it takes to make real and lasting change. They're not willing to give up convenience or luxury. They'll happily shame the "exploiters" to feel good about themselves, but continue to fund them nonetheless.
