Yeah. This is the worst policy decision ever. If I hadn’t already pulled my child out to homeschool, I would do so now. So glad we’re settled into the homeschool routine already.

My uncle has taught well past retirement age because he loves it so much. He’s also kept a second job for years because of the poor pay teaching. He’s retiring now.

Several distant cousins, also teachers, have been trying themselves into anxious knots over this. I’m betting any of them who can, will leave the profession.

It’s just so stupid. It’s going to be disastrous. Worst thing in the world to do right now. This one decision will end any possible shred of a chance at containment we have left.
