Yeah. There are always rules. You can't have fairness or equity or even a game at all without them.

Libertarians kinda get a bad rep because people confuse real libertarianism with anarchists. They're not the same.

Libertarians are often the voice of dissent because they're always picking apart the rules to see if they make sense and if they track where they're supposed to, questioning if it needs to be a rule in the first place, and watching the people making the rules like a hawk. Oh, and constantly poking everyone else with, "are you sure you want this person making the rules and decisions for you? Is this where you want to put your power?"

You can't have a healthy, tgriving democracy without a good strong voice if dissent because dissent makes people think instead of just going along. Dissent means power must be constantly earned instead of just assumed.

The is the purpose of libertarians and why they exist always at odds and rubbing people the wrong way. But, the rest of you need us.
