Yeah, that's why I said written to misogyny. And I was thinking about EL James specifically when I said it. Although, I've also got to admit I kinda liked 50 Shades of WhatTheHolyFuckingShitFuck. It's one of the best comedy series that I've read in a long time. You can quite literally riff off that thing for days. I'm shocked there aren't thousands more parodies of it. They practically write themselves.

Anyway, back to the point... perhaps a better term there would have been 'written by the patriarchy' because the sustainability architects of it include both sexes. And have for generations.
