Yeah, she's a good writer and her piece was good. Allison's made me chuckle. This round, I think I like Jessica Wildfire's take on it the best. She actually wrote two articles inspired off his I think. One was a rebuff and the other was her own version of life advice.

The guy's article was mostly a fluff piece. Basic stoicism kind of stuff, very forgettable. There were two things in there that were overtly misogynistic. Most everyone is focusing on the bit you clipped from Elle Beau.

I can't even remember a single other advice point out of that article. That's how forgettable it was. Useless fluff. Bland common sense or fortune cookie useless kind of stuff.

For the life of me I can't figure out why it popped up on my feed. The algorithm must occasionally push stuff like that to rile people up. I've still only written two articles myself, but I've gone toe to toe with misogynists I'm the comments quite often. I guess it's a weird compliment of sorts to be included in the ranks of JW, Elle, Allison, and Katie for that push.

Almost makes you feel sorry for the guy. No wonder he pulled it down quickly. He learned the hard way he's nothing but a tin soldier.

On the whole advice articles are lame. If I was going to do life advice, I wouldn't do it as a list of bullet points, but as a series. Actually, "How to Bag a 15-point Buck" would be one of them. That was damn good advice.
