Yeah, it's this strange view of far right liberalism that they then want to foist upon everyone else irregardless of whether or not they want it, whether or not it can be legitimately applied equitably, and ignoring all the harm it will do —including to them. Collateral damage, opportunity cost, whatever.

Then, the real kicker is that most of the schmucks promoting this at any kind of meaningful way at leadership level absolutely know it's bullshit. They don't want it. They know exactly the shit storm it will cause. They're performing, playing a part.

And the rest of us are just left standing there's mouths open and scratching our heads, finally stammering out, "what the hell are you doing? You're a leader. Fucking act like it, instead of a damned sociopathic lemming."
