Yeah. It’s over kill for sure. There were most likely errors on both sides. It shouldn’t have turned nasty. But it did. We see who’s getting raked over the coals though. It’s one thing to call out bad behavior. It’s quite another to ruin someone’s career. Being tone deaf or rude is not a crime like rape and sexual assault and harassment. That’s a false equivalency from much of the commentary. It shows a dangerous desire for revenge.

It’s unfair to judge without a full review of the complete exchange, a known pattern of behavior of both people, and an interview or determination of intent of both people (did they each hear/receive an accurate interpretation of what the other person said/meant or were one or both trapped in a bias interpretation of events.) And hey, we’ve all been there. It happens.

I haven’t seen the entire exchange so I’m not making a judgement either way. I’m just saying it’s entirely possible both were taken the wrong way and both behaved inappropriately.
