If these hearings, failure to codify Roe, and failure of meaningful gun reform do not prove that to conservatives, then its likely time to end the US and go out separate ways. It's either that or resign ourselves constantly fighting for political survival against increasingly hostile and unhinged attacks by the alt right, being unable to pursue our own agendas in order to protect a common objective truth against insane conspiracy theories, and never moving forward. We'll continue slipping from the world stage and failing to meet our own potential in the modern world.
