It's hard to know how to help the situation, your personal one and the broader one. It often seems like we're losing, because how do you combat crazy?

One thing seems certain, liberals need to get a lot more strategic. So, I hope you take a break and use that time to consider strategy for reentering the fray, if that is your choice. I hate to see a good voice lost.
