Yeah, I do too actually. Believe it or not, sometimes that person is me. I'm a natural introvert, socialization is hard and exhausting.

I just have equal sympathy for those on the receiving end of the actual creeps. And since that person is also sometimes me .....

I'm kind of betwixt and between about it.

I don't hold fear in my head the way so many men seem to. That, I find truly bizarre. All the advantages that go along with having a male body, the social status that comes with Patriarchy, etc and yet many men live their lives in abject fear of their imaginings.

It reminds me of Christians. Supposedly their belief in Jesus secures them from the fires of hell but they're the most afraid to die. Bizarre.

Glad to give you an emotional boost of confidence. Despite the melodramatic yammerings from the butt hurt brigade, being a feminist doesn't mean I hate men. I know you know I strongly believe in investing in people who will reciprocate and I have a steong belief in the social Commons. And yes, it's like Lizzie told Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. Confidence comes with practice. Can't be afraid to practice.
