If the average age is 3, there will be some kids outside that mean.

Kids shouldn't be forced to go to kindergarten when they're not ready just because they're 5.

This is a systemic failure of education, not a problem with parents or with the kids.

Some kids take a long time to potty train because of structural abnormalities in or around their bladder. One of my sister's friends didn't fully potty train until nearly 9. Turns out she had double urethra. A genetic fluke. She couldn't help it.

She used to get whipped with a belt every time she had an accident thanks to Dobbs' Focus on the Family bullshit and yhr sort of attitudes I see in this article and the commentary.
