Yeah. Cause legally speaking, she didn't lie. She did survive domestic abuse.

It was an opinion piece. She wasn't actually obligated to tell the whole story, rather than one perspective of it.

So, not liable. She didn't actually name him, so not defamation and not slander.

Plus, I don't think she realized at the time.she wrote it her own culpability. I think she saw her actions as a defence against his rather than her being abusive in turn. I think she had post traumatic stress from the rape.

And he did rape her. Multiple times.

She seems to have processed more since then. She seems to be recognizing her own actions and part in the down spiral more.

She's being clear and forthright about her hitting him.
