Yeah, but that could be alleviated by a mindful, compassionate euthanasia policy. We shouldn’t force people to end their lives but we shouldn’t force them to live for years unable to take care of themselves, in pain, sick, and alone either. I think a lot of people would choose euthanasia or a natural but pain free death after a certain age to save money, get it over with, and go out on their terms rather than be kept alive for months or years by medical intervention.
