Yeah, but don’t forget it’s certain citizens who keep voting for the Ted Cruzes, Mitch McConnells, Jim Petersons, Rand Pauls, etc.

They wouldn’t be in a position to send out their thoughts and prayers, then stifle legislation and pocket a bonus check from the gun industry if certain citizens didn’t keep putting them there to do so.

It comes back down to that every time. You can talk about the evils of lobbying all day long and you’re not wrong.

But how many of your family, friends, work colleagues, and neighbors are proving time and time again that they don’t care how many kids die, possibly including their own, so long as they get to “own the libs"? So long as they get to deny social services to those they deem unworthy? So long as they get to take away the rights of everyone else to ensure a better spot and conditions for themselves?

30% of this country does exactly that election year after election year after election year. Their candidates vote by party line rather than by issues as they have for years. Every year it gets worse and every year those 30% of voters get more and more vote power.

We’re just getting started in the number of children that are going to die. In all the carnage that comes from these other failed policies and failures of leadership.

If we want to change this, we need to do something about those people.
