Yeah, as a naturally stocky, athletic build I was fat shamed a fair amount, especially as a teenager. More often, though, it was "help" by supplying me with diet stuff and letting me know how many calories something or other has and exactly where they would all go.

And I ate healthier than them! Sometimes even visibly fewer calories!!

Another writer on here is a very tall and athletic Finn. She developed an eating disorder because she could never eat in peace. She's a body builder now too and absolutely glorious from the pics.

I don't pump iron because it bores the ever living daylights out of me, but I skate, ride bikes, still play ball when I can get enough people together, walk my dog 5 miles a day, swim, and my daughter and I still do her cheerleader warmup every day.

Most men I know can't do that workout.

Before I stopped dating, when I got rejected, it was usually for being intimidating or "pretty but just not to my preference. I like smaller women."

I actually prefer men closer to my size, but the only guys who could tolerate being paired against me for any length of time are usually pretty tall.

Joopes has actually been fat shamed again, since this story happened, but the Urchling fielded that one. I gotta pen that story, she eviscerated any bit of self esteem he had. I think she might have made the guy cry. I'm hopeful, anyway.
