Yeah. Anything that becomes a buzz word, ends up becoming overused and warped of meaning pretty quickly.

I generally try to hold the line on the original concept of these terms. 'Mansplaining' is a other good example. Not many people recognize it's not men's conduct anymore. Originally it was about the expectation to perform certain gendered social roles and how we just automatically fall into them. In the case of man's planning, how men are socialized to be overly and unnecessarily helpful (sometimes even unwanted help or help that is actually a burden) and women are socialized to be pleasant and accept help from men (to be their ingénue). Mansplaining is about the scripted interplay of roles.

But we see how that morphed.
