Spiteful, deflecting, reframing what was actually said into what you want to hear, DARVO type response to a legit concern and grievance, minimizing, counter attack using a gender slur, failure to acknowledge the Author's reflection of her own part in the interaction and see it only as finger pointing and blame rather than what it really is which is a call to reflect, need to dominate by barging in.

It's almost as though you were socialized as a male growing up. Funny how that works. How you're socialized has nothing to do with your gender identity and is all about the gender you were assigned at birth.

Just out of curiosity, have you thought up a gender slur for the author yet? He was afab after all. He fell into that female role in this interaction he described despite being a man. Surely you have a gender slur ready on hand for such behavior and how, it too, is an assault on you and your voice.
