Women have pushed for the draft for years. There's been a bill since 2016 waiting to be signed. It's male controlled senate that refuses the legislation. Don't blame women for that one. It's also been the work of predominantly Senate men (and Schlayfly, may she rot in hell) who stalled the ERA amendment which would have benefitted men as well.
Let's face it, women distinguishing themselves on a battlefield would emasculate too many men. There's a whole sect that just can't handle trusting a woman to have your back. Even though, women have engaged in wars since time immemorial as spies, assassins, resistance, support, as scouts, as messengers, as supply runners, as nurses and medics, as bombers, as snipers, as saboteurs, and disguised as men on battlefields.
