Who said it was the norm? It wouldn't have made such an impression if it was just a regular day. Duh.

Besides, they were doing this during a wake. They were out of line and they had it coming.

It was good for me and all the cousins to see that disrespecting the mothers would not be tolerated.

More families would be betternoff if great grandmas and grandmas didn't sit idly by when their grown ass sons teach and model disrespect of mothers in front of children.

That's bullshit and you know it. And men do it all the damn time. So don't apologize to me that my great geandmother loved us all enough to see we got good examples of how to love our mothers and grandmothers.

There is no love without respect. You don't trash talk your partner in public and you don't mock them in front of the children and grandchildren you share.

Go read your Bible so you'll know what needs an apology and what doesn't.
For crying out loud. The hell?
