I thought I put that in there. Checking…. I did. I did state that GSA is considered pseudoscience by mainstream science.

The Westermarck effect has achieved some empirical support. Here’s a study that determined the aversion was much stronger in women than men, possibly due to the higher cost of reproduction in women.

I think it’s clear that the Westermarck effect is higher than GSA but this study suggests that GSA may be higher in men, but again, most of the thought around it now is not based on any real science. I’ve even seen the theory used to excuse pedophilia. Freud’s theory was flawed from the start but did not have anything to do with pedophilia.
