While I appreciate the spirit with which this statement is said, it's still wrong. NO ONE type of person is better than another that ANYONE should be treated better or placed on a pedastel.

That's just the same old problem.

And on a pedastel, you mom would be separated from you and your siblings and other family. She would end up only and bitter because of it.

If I may offer a suggestion...my daughter and I do queen of the moment, which we shamelessly stole from The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. (or the movie. I couldn't remember if it was part of the book). It's been awesome! You get your recognition, praise, and validation for life's little successes and challenges met, but you also learn to share glory and that it's fleeting, so your ego doesn't get out of hand. It becomes natural to uplift everyone as part of the game because you know you'll be uplifted in turn.
